Terms

Terms of Service

These terms govern use of RSVME. Effective August 23, 2026 (version 1.0). Privacy details live in our Privacy Policy.

Accounts and roles

Hosts create workspaces and events, invite guests, and manage operational settings. Guests receive invites or use public RSVP links, claim tickets, and use guest-facing surfaces such as the passport. You must provide accurate information and keep access to your email account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

Hosts and guests may not use RSVME to:

  • Violate law, or facilitate fraud, harassment, or abuse
  • Scrape, harvest, or resell guest contact data without a lawful basis
  • Probe, disrupt, or bypass security or rate limits
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent an event’s purpose in a deceptive way
  • Upload malware or content you do not have rights to use

We may suspend or terminate access when we reasonably believe these terms are violated.

Payments

Hosts may attach Stripe Payment Links to events. Stripe processes card payments; RSVME uses checkout completion signals to issue tickets. Refunds are manual and host-handled — RSVME does not provide an automated in-product refund flow. Hosts are responsible for their refund policies and for resolving payment disputes with guests and Stripe.

Content ownership

Hosts retain rights to materials they upload (including photos, copy, and custom field definitions), subject to the license needed for RSVME to host and display that content for the event. Guests retain rights to content they submit (such as chat messages and custom field answers), and grant hosts and RSVME permission to process that content to operate the event. You must not upload content that infringes others’ rights.

Service availability

We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change as we improve the product.

Termination

You may stop using RSVME at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms, risk to other users, non-payment where applicable, or extended inactivity. After termination, provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, liability limits, and governing law) continue to apply.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

RSVME is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RSVME and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and is incorporated by reference.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Georgia have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or the service, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
