FAQ

How RSVME works for hosts and guests

Short answers to the questions we hear most. Prefer a human reply? Reach us anytime on Support.

How do I create my first event?

Sign up, create a workspace, then add an event from the host dashboard. You can invite guests, set RSVP options, and open the tools you need as the event gets closer. Host your first event.

How do guests RSVP / claim a ticket?

Guests can use a public RSVP link or an invite you send. After they respond, they sign in with a password or magic link to open their guest view for that event. Paid events may send guests through a Stripe Payment Link before a ticket is issued.

Can assistants help guests RSVP?

Yes — share the same public RSVP link you would send by email or text. The page includes structured event details (time, place, description) so assistants can answer basic questions and point guests to RSVP there. For implementers, see llms.txt.

What's the difference between a sub-event and the main event?

The main event is the parent gathering. Sub-events are related sessions underneath it (for example a dinner after a daytime program). Guests hold a ticket on the parent event; visibility into sub-events follows the roles and settings you configure.

How does check-in work at the door?

When you use check-in, staff can scan or look up a guest’s ticket and mark them arrived. Guests can show their ticket code from their guest view. Check-in is optional — turn it on when door ops matter for your event.

What are identity tiers and when should I use them?

Identity tiers (full, pseudonymous, hidden) control how guests appear to each other and to some staff while hosts keep operational contact details. Use them when discretion matters — and read what they do not cover on the Trust page before enabling non-full tiers.

Is RSVME free to use?

RSVME is currently free for all users while we validate it with real hosts and events. See Pricing for what we expect later. Paid plans will be introduced later as RSVME expands. Future tiers may add privacy options, richer structure, and higher limits.

How do I contact RSVME?

Use our support page. You can submit a request there or email support@rsvme.events for product and event help. General notes can go to hi@rsvme.events. Event-related issues receive priority attention.

What if my event is today?

Tell us on the support page and note that the event is happening now. Event-day issues receive priority. You can call or text us, or use the form on Support.

Do guests need an RSVME account?

Guests can RSVP from your link without an account first. To open their ticket, passport, and guest tools, they sign in with a magic link or password using the same email as the invite.

What if I can't find my ticket?

Start on Support and choose the ticket or delivery category. If you received a ticket email from RSVME, use the support link in that message when available — it pre-fills your event context so we can help faster.

Can RSVME help me set up my event?

For hands-on help running an event, see Event Services — human support separate from the software. For product questions, bugs, or guest issues, use Support.
